Chairperson - Caroline LumleyAs Chair my role is to support the Festival team and to make sure it functions efficiently. I preside over meetings and preparation activities and make sure that all voices are heard and all relevant matters discussed. After a long career in Sales and Marketing Management followed by running my own Management Training Consultancy, it is delightful in my retirement to give my time and experience to the Festival. I have lived in Hungerford for over 25 years and have been associated with Hungerford Summer Festival for many of those years
Secretary - Sara FrickerAs Secretary my role is to support the chair and ensure the smooth functioning of the Management Committee. I ensure that all meetings are effectively organised and minuted. I aid in the execution of a successful festival. Text to be inserted
Sponsorship Co-ordinator - Jane MillsAs Sponsorship Co-ordinator, my role is to contact and liaise with local businesses and individuals in order to raise as much financial support as possible. Without the generous contributions from all our sponsors and donors, the Hungerford Summer Festival would not be able to survive. I moved to Hungerford just before Coronavirus arrived and was disappointed that all cultural activities were cancelled the first year I lived here. Therefore, when I saw a poster advertising for volunteers to get the Festival up and running again in 2021, I thought it was a very worthwhile cause to dedicate some time to. Although not ever having been involved directly in fundraising, I worked at the University of Reading for many years, taking on a variety of different roles.
Events Manager - Hilary StockwellAs Events Manager I research, assess, select aand arrange the booking of all events to be included in the annual festival. My responsibilities commence each Autumn and it is my goal to conclude the schedule for the next festival by the beginning of the year. I am a long term resident of Hungerford and am involved in many town activities, working as a volunteer at the Red Cross and offering my services to ecological and environmental initiatives. As Events Manager it is my goal to otrganise a diverse range of events that engage and involve as many people as possible from across Hungerford and the surrounding villages.
Community Outreach Manager - Nicola WoodI have lived in Hungerford for over 33 years and enjoying retirement after a successful sales career.
I recently joined HADCAF as an Outreach member and am responsible for organising different activities and venues.
