Here is how to enter:
If you would like to make a portrait of Helen Simpson, the Mayor of Hungerford, and enter for this unique and prestigious competition…
A picture of Helen can be seen at the bottom of this post. Right click the image and ‘Save image as..’ to save a copy to your computer.
Create your own two-dimensional portrait of Helen, using any media; pencil, charcoal, paint, crayons, collage or pastel, and email a photograph of your portrait to:
portraitcompetition2022@hungerfordsummerfestival.co.uk
with your name, age and contact details.
Portraits can be any size from stamp-size up to maximum A3.
There are two groups; 12 years and under, and 13 years plus.
Click on this link If you wish to book for our Portrait Workshop with artist Chally Spokes, on Monday 4th July, where Helen will be posing LIVE for delegates.
Helen will be judging all the entries on Saturday 9th July and choosing her favourites. The winning entries will be notified, and their portraits will be framed and publicly exhibited.
